For a lot of reasons but mostly because I've been traveling a lot, working a lot, sleeping very little and seeing my husband even less.
Its only 19 days into 2010 and I'm burnt out. I know there are a million things I could/should do to take control of my life and I'm just too tired. I've lost my gusto.
How do you deal with stress?
Feeling the same here. Can I blame it on the weather?
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your feelings of burnout. It tends to happen, especially at the beginning of the year when we overwhelm ourselves with so many expectations. Relax! You don't have to do everything today. Just know that crummy feeling times always pass. Do something you enjoy, get a massage, go outside and breathe in some fresh air. If all else fails, call a good friend or family member, talk it out. It always feels good to talk. Hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI agree with the above. Maybe even write in a journal at the end of the day to get everything out and clear your mind for the next day. Exercise too is a great way to destress. Hope your funk goes away :)

ReplyDelete@Jaeve - You're right, it's hard but sometimes you to just stop and relax and realize that things are honestly just fine.
@Brandi - I'm gonna go to gym for the rest of the week - maybe a little run will take some stress away :)
